Managing Stress and Living a Healthy Life
I find massage to be helpful. Some people might feel guilty because they think it's a luxury but it's not. It's something that really helps relieve the pain and really loosens up the muscles and I think it's just so important to do if you can, and if it's something that will help you. You have to see the right person because the wrong person can pretty much turn you off to massage - the pain can be pretty strong if you don't have it done correctly. It took a lot of trial and error, but I eventually found someone who was familiar with fibromyalgia, and who did therapeutic massage. Find someone who listens to you - that's really important, because you're the one that knows your body the best.
